Your consent also constitutes permission for data processing. Therefore, if you have given us your consent (e.g., to store the application documents in our applicant pool for a longer period of time or to forward the application documents to other company units), we will also process your data for this purpose (Art. 88 (1) EU GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (2) BDSG).
If we obtain consent from you, we will of course inform you about the specific purpose of the data processing and about your rescission right. In our company, we ensure that only those departments and persons receive access to your application data that need it to carry out the application process or fulfill legal obligations.
If you apply for a specific advertised position in the Leadec applicant management system, your data will be processed by our central HR department and, where necessary, by the responsible HR managers of the company advertising the position.

Consent is voluntary and may be revoked at any time with future effect by sending an email to the contact person named in the application.
If you register in the application management system on your own initiative, your data is used - for the purpose of assessing your employment potential - by our central HR department and, depending on your qualifications and skills, by the HR managers in the relevant affiliated enterprises, where applicable.
Otherwise, data will not be disclosed to third parties unless we are obligated to do so by mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement agencies).
Storage period of the data
We store your applicant data until the application process is completed or we no longer need your data for the above-mentioned purposes or you have revoked your consent.
Generally, routines have been created to ensure that data is deleted after the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies or after the underlying retention period has expired. In the event of a negative decision, your applicant data will therefore generally be deleted after six months.
If your profile is of general interest to us, we would be glad to include you in our applicant pool and then store the data beyond the 6-month period. In this case, we will ask you for your consent before the 6-month period has expired and subsequently every 12 months and at the same time to update your profile. As soon as we no longer have your consent, we will delete your data.
Should we enter into an employment relationship with you, the relevant applicant data will continue to be stored by us insofar as it continues to be relevant within the context of the employment relationship.
Third country transfer / intention to transfer data to third countries
Data will only be transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if you have given us your consent to do so or if this is required by law. Compliance with the level of data protection is thereby primarily ensured by an appropriate contractual framework under data protection law.
We do not (currently) transfer your personal data to any service provider or group company outside the European Economic Area.
The Leadec Group also has subsidiaries in countries where the European data protection law does not apply. If you apply for a position in these countries, we will make you aware that your data will be processed in these countries.
In a number of context, we may process your personal data under a data protection regime which is not ruled by the EU-GDPR. Such may, e.g., be the case if you apply with one of our companies located outside the EWU/ the EEA or interact with such companies in any other way. However, we will provide the data protection information required in such case accordingly but separate from this general EU privacy statement.
Secure transfer of your data
In order to protect your data from manipulation, loss or destruction, the Leadec group of companies, together with all affiliated enterprises, uses technical and organizational measures that are continuously improved in line with technical progress.
All data exchange from and to our website is encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, in each case using the encryption protocols. Your application documents are also transmitted to us in encrypted form by our application system.
Obligation to provide data
The decision as to whether or not to establish an employment relationship with you can only be made if you provide us with certain personal data, such as your curriculum vitae, employment or qualification certificate, salary details, language certificates, data on availability, etc. In doing so, we naturally observe the principle of data economy and data avoidance in that you must only provide us with the data that we need to fully review your application documents or that we are obligated to collect by law.
Unfortunately, without this data we cannot conduct an assessment of your application documents.
Of course, you have the option to voluntarily provide us with additional information in your application materials.
We currently do not use any fully automated processing to file any decision with legal effect on data subjects.
